FAQ's

Maverick Schools was established in 2011 with the main aim to provide affordable international education for the primary and secondary levels following the Cambridge Pathway.

The Cambridge syllabus focuses on developing knowledge and skills in core and elective subjects to form an excellent foundation for the future. For learners, it provides a clear developmental path from kindergarten all the way to the A-levels. These learners will also gain a leg up on gaining admission into the world's top universities.

Cambridge-educated learners find it easy to adapt to the college/university lifestyle through our classroom presentations, lectures, experiments and assignments at Maverick.

Our team of teachers do not compromise when it comes to education. We strictly adhere to the Cambridge primary curriculum, as well as the ministry of education's (MoE) licensing requirements. Besides focusing on academic excellence, we also believe in making sure our learners are physically fit. Hence, we also emphasise on physical education and organise outdoor activities to keep our learners, active. Most importantly, we aim to provide a high quality education for your child at an affordable price.

We have sufficient facilities to aid lessons such as projectors in each classroom, a science lab, music room, drama/dance room, baking kitchen, multipurpose hall, library, ICT lab, and a wholly owned-cafe. We also take our students for outdoor activities and PE on a regular basis.

We take safety very seriously and our campus is fully equipped with CCTVs, magnetic doors and an alarm system. We adopt a strict no-exit-without-parental-written-consent policy. We adopt the QR Dismissal System. Student-discipline is enforced through a merit and demerit system (M.A.D. system).

The maximum capacity of our classrooms is 25 students though we would like to have fewer than 20 students in a class.

Our wholistic approach gives students a complete day programme. Our daily schedule is as follows:-

  • 8.30am – 2.30pm : Schooling hours
  • 3.00pm – 4.00pm : Extra-curricular activities (ECA)
  • 4.30pm – 6.30pm : After-school programme (ASP)

Upon completing the IGCSE, one can pursue tertiary education starting with pre-university courses such as A-levels, SAM, Canadian matriculation and degree foundations. Our curriculum will prepare learners with the necessary skills to adapt to the independent learning environment in a college/university setting.
