"Children are one third of our population and all of our future." For a better world, we must educate our children. A society's destiny rests on how it treats its children. Recognising this, we have established a separated school – Maverick International Primary School (MIPS).

As part of Maverick Schools, MIPS has been carefully and specially designed and built to cater to the needs of children within the age groups of 3 to 5 (Early Years); 6 to 12 (Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2). With our founders' vast experience in early childhood and primary level education since year 2005, we prioritise children's education over anything else while emphasising 3 main aspects of a child's development: academics, character, and athleticism.

Through MIPS, we carry out the Cambridge Primary programme as part of the Cambridge Pathway by Cambridge International Assessment Education. We have designed our curriculum to instil the Cambridge Learner's Attributes:

RESPONSIBLE for themselves, responsive to and respectful of others.
REFLECTIVE as learners, developing their ability to learn.
INNOVATIVE and equipped for new and future challenges.

Further, we have always believed in building positive character to achieve exceptional results since day one. We start early; the earlier the better. We listen to our children as they have rights to speech and rights to be heard, too. They inspire, motivate, and push us to keep doing better.

Enrolment

Children aged 3 to 5 (or 6) can enrol in our MaverKids (Early Years) while children aged 6 to 12 can enrol in the Cambridge Primary programme. The ages are just indicatory as it all depends on the learners' readiness for school.

Curriculum

We can provide a broad and balanced education for our learners, a strong foundation for learners at the beginning of their schooling before progressing through the Cambridge Pathway in an age-appropriate manner.

Cambridge Primary

Cambridge Primary starts learners on a fun-filled and exciting journey. At the end of Cambridge Primary, learners will sit for Cambridge Primary Checkpoint examinations for assessment and us to have valuable feedback on learners' strengths and weaknesses before they progress to the next stage of their schooling life.

Hybrid, Online, & Physical Education.

Hybrid learning – Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic which hit us in 2019, we were one of the first schools to initiate providing hybrid learning to our learners. This was made possible due to our swift and systematic action supported by our capable and energetic educators. In a short span of time, we were able to adopt and adapt to the new norm and activate our hybrid learning option. With hybrid learning, parents no longer need to make difficult decisions to take risks to send children to school due to the fear of deterioration in their children's studies. We are committed to continue with this option of learning as long as the pandemic persists and possibly being extended after the end of the pandemic as well.

Online learning – Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, schools have been the first to be forced to close by governments throughout the world to protect children. When we need to do so, we will activate our online learning protocols. What makes us different than other schools in carrying out this new norm of learning is that we have concluded and accepted that the pandemic will last for at least another 2 years. We started by setting the right mindset over things and based on the right mindset, things are planned and executed accordingly. This enables us to continue to educate our children effectively and as close to physical learning as possible. We have brought festival celebrations to our learners' doorstep; added compulsory fun learning periods to all subjects; motivated learners with the "Maverick Fugitive" game; introduced the BOTDAC (Back On Track Devices Abuse Countermeasure) programme; and many more!

Physical Education – Classroom learning will never be the same again. With strict adherence of the Standard Operations Procedures (SOP) set by the Ministry of Education, lessons are carried out effectively and safely. We never compromised with quality of sanitisers, sanitisation, and cleanliness of our schools. Proudly, this has enabled us to maintain zero covid transmission in our schools up to date. To facilitate our hybrid learning, we have also changed our classroom learning methodology to incorporate more videos and slides as well as using more virtual whiteboard instead the traditional ones.
